I've never had any luck with that myself, maybe some who have will chime in. Some folks say they have fixed the problem by repairing old tuners or by using single mandolin tuners. It used to be that replacement tuner assemblies from parted out Stringmasters appeared on eBay from time to time.īut since the prices of Stringmasters have gone up, it's no longer profitable to part them out. I guess they figure repetition for emphasis will get the point across to us.įender Japan makes Stringmasters, but their refusal to sell tuners separately was even more polite than their USA counterparts. Not once but twice, and the second one (that came 2 years later) was unsolicited.
